Biochemical Studies of the DRw9 Specificity in Caucasians

1989
DRw9 specificity has been definitively considered at the Eighth Workshop as different from DR4-DR7 specificities. Today, DRw9 is serologically well defined by monomorphic and plurispecific allosera. DRw9 is commonly linked to DQw3.

Morphometric study on the postnatal growth of the cerebellum of Australian Aborigines and Caucasians

Brain Research, 1989
In an autopsy study on 29 male Aborigines and 57 male Caucasians, macroscopic and microscopic parameters of postnatal cerebellar development were determined and described by mathematic growth functions. For the whole cerebellum and its cortical layers volume measurements revealed delayed maturation for Aborigines compared to Caucasians.

Phytochemical Study of the North Caucasian Rosa Spinossima L. Fruit

Bulletin of Experimental Biology and Medicine, 2011
Qualitative composition and content of anthocyanins in the Rosa spinossima L. fruit were studied. The anthocyanin sum was isolated by talc adsorption with subsequent desorption. The presence of anthocyanins in the resultant fraction was confirmed by thin layer chromatography. Three spots corresponding to anthocyanins were found.

Morphometric study on the postnatal growth of the hippocampus in Australian Aborigines and Caucasians

Brain Research, 1991
In an autopsy study on Australian Aborigines (29 males, 27 females) and Caucasians (57 males, 37 females) the postnatal growth of the hippocampus was studied and described by mathematical growth functions. For male adults no significant difference in hippocampal volume was found.

Bimaxillary Protrusion in the Caucasian: A Cephalometric Study of the Morphological Features

British Journal of Orthodontics, 1985
The skeletal morphology of bimaxillary dental protrusion has been investigated in a comparative cephalometric study. Because this is considered a subset of Class I malocclusions, the null hypothesis is that there should be no significant skeletal differences between this group and a Class I control group.
