The Cauchy Integral Operator on the Predual of a Morrey Space

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2010
We show that the Cauchy integral operator is bounded from (the predual of a Morrey space) to (the local version of ). To prove our theorem we will introduce generalized atoms and consider a variant of "Tb theorem."

Cauchy non-integral formulas

open access: yes, 2012
We study certain generalized Cauchy integral formulas for gradients of solutions to second order divergence form elliptic systems, which appeared in recent work by P. Auscher and A. Ros n. These are constructed through functional calculus and are in general beyond the scope of singular integrals.

A highly accurate numerical method for solving boundary value problem of generalized Bagley‐Torvik equation

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, EarlyView.
A highly accurate numerical method is given for the solution of boundary value problem of generalized Bagley‐Torvik (BgT) equation with Caputo derivative of order 0<β<2$$ 0<\beta <2 $$ by using the collocation‐shooting method (C‐SM). The collocation solution is constructed in the space Sm+1(1)$$ {S}_{m+1}^{(1)} $$ as piecewise polynomials of degree at ...

Hybrid Reaction–Diffusion Epidemic Models: Dynamics and Emergence of Oscillations

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In this paper, we construct a hybrid epidemic mathematical model based on a reaction–diffusion system of the SIR (susceptible‐infected‐recovered) type. This model integrates the impact of random factors on the transmission rate of infectious diseases, represented by a probabilistic process acting at discrete time steps.

Cauchy formula for vector-valued holomorphic functions and the Cauchy-Kovalevskaja theorem

open access: yesAnalysis and Geometry in Metric Spaces
We establish a version of the Cauchy integral formula for holomorphic functions on a polidisc, with values in a complex Fréchet space X{\mathfrak{X}}. We prove a vector-valued analog to Weierstrass’s theorem on sequences of holomorphic functions fν∈O(Ω,X)

Riemann–Hilbert problems with shift on the Lyapunov curve for null-solutions of iterated Beltrami equations

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems, 2019
In this article, we study some Riemann–Hilbert problems with shift on the Lyapunov curve for generalized polyanalytic functions, which are null-solutions of a class of iterated Beltrami equations.

Duality for Evolutionary Equations With Applications to Null Controllability

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We study evolutionary equations in exponentially weighted L2$$ {\mathrm{L}}^2 $$‐spaces as introduced by Picard in 2009. First, for a given evolutionary equation, we explicitly describe the ν$$ \nu $$‐adjoint system, which turns out to describe a system backwards in time. We prove well‐posedness for the ν$$ \nu $$‐adjoint system. We then apply

Modified Gauss-Legendre, Lobatto and Radau cubature formulas for the numerical evaluation of 2-D singular integrals

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1983
A numerical technique, first reported in 1979 in refs.[1] and [2], for the numerical evaluation of two-dimensional Cauchy-type principal-value integrals, is extended in this paper to include several cubature formlas of the Radau and Lobatto types.

On the approximate solution of the Cauchy problem for the Helmholtz equation on the plane [PDF]

open access: yesComputational Algorithms and Numerical Dimensions
In this paper, approximate solutions of the Cauchy problem for the Helmholtz equation on a two-dimensional bounded region are found. The problem under consideration belongs to the problems of mathematical physics, in which there is no continuous ...

The Real and Complex Techniques in Harmonic Analysis from the Point of View of Covariant Transform

open access: yes, 2014
This note reviews complex and real techniques in harmonic analysis. We describe a common source of both approaches rooted in the covariant transform generated by the affine group.
