Self‐Similar Blowup for the Cubic Schrödinger Equation
ABSTRACT We give a rigorous proof for the existence of a finite‐energy, self‐similar solution to the focusing cubic Schrödinger equation in three spatial dimensions. The proof is computer‐assisted and relies on a fixed point argument that shows the existence of a solution in the vicinity of a numerically constructed approximation.

In this manuscript, we present the general fractional derivative (FD) along with its fractional integral (FI), specifically the ψ-Caputo–Katugampola fractional derivative (ψ-CKFD).

ABSTRACT We performed first‐principles density functional theory calculations to methodically analyse the structural, mechanical, electronic, thermal, and optical properties of trigonal ZrSnO3 under external pressure up to 60 GPa with GGA‐PBE and HSE06 functionals.

A historical review of the Cauchy-Riemann equations and the Cauchy Theorem [PDF]
In this article we take a historical tour through the Cauchy-Riemann equations and their relationship with Cauchy's theorem on the independence with respect to the path of the integral of a holomorphic function. Because of its importance we do a detailed

Cauchy problem with Denjoy-Stieltjes integral [PDF]
summary:This work is devoted to analyzing the existence of the Cauchy fractional-type problems considering the Riemann-Liouville derivative (in the distributional Denjoy integral sense) of real order $n\geq 1$.

This work aims to develop a generalised and efficient semi‐analytical method that combines the Laplace decomposition method with Pade approximation (LDMPA) to solve multidimensional nonlinear integro‐partial differential equation. For a one‐dimension case, explicit (closed‐form) solutions for the number density functions are derived for the first time.

Application of the Residue Theorem to Trigonometric Sum Identities [PDF]
By evaluating a contour integral with the Cauchy residue theorem, we prove a general summation formula on trigonometric sum, which contains several interesting trigonometric identities as special ...

Least Trimmed Squares: Cointegration and Outliers
ABSTRACT When applying the cointegrated autoregressive distributed lag model it is common to include indicator variables for outliers. This is often done in a somewhat ad hoc way. Least Trimmed Squares estimation provides a more systematic approach. This estimator is robust to a large number of outliers of many types.

ABSTRACT The planar and radial thermal free jets for forced convection of a non‐Newtonian power‐law fluid are investigated. The thermal diffusivity is dependent on the shear‐rate and is not a constant. The flow in planar and radial thermal free jets is governed by the momentum, continuity and energy balance equations. In the stream‐function formulation,

ABSTRACT In this paper, we consider the optimal control problem for an unknown continuous‐time nonlinear system, and present a framework that integrates model‐based and model‐free methods to solve it. Each approach offers distinct advantages: model‐based techniques provide offline synthesis and data efficiency, while model‐free procedures excel at ...
