ABSTRACT Introduction This final analysis of a multicenter, prospective postmarketing surveillance study evaluated the safety of daprodustat in patients with chronic kidney disease anemia in routine clinical practice in Japan. Methods Patients who initiated daprodustat between September 2020 and July 2022 were registered.

Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...

IMAGES DISTRIBUTION OF BINARY SYMMETRICAL GRAVITATIONAL LENS
In this paper, we study the distribu- tion of images from a point source in N - point gravi- tational lenses. It is well known that in a Schwarzschild lens (N = 1) from a point source, there are always two images.

Physics on and near Caustics [PDF]
Physics on caustics is obtained by studying physics near caustics. Physics on caustics is at the cross-roads of calculus of variation and functional integration. More precisely consider a space P M d of paths x: [t a ,t b ] → M d , on a d-dimensional manifold M d Consider two of its subspaces: i) The 2d-dimensional space U of critical points of ...

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

This article discusses the effect of caustic soda on the intensity of gassing in the production of non-autoclaved aerated concrete. It has been found out that adding 0.8 and 1.0 percent of caustic soda increases the amount of released hydrogen by 20-40%.

Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative
