International Journal of Modern Physics A, 1998 In this article old and new relations between gauge fields and strings are discussed. We add new arguments that the Yang–Mills theories must be described by the noncritical strings in the five-dimensional curved space. The physical meaning of the fifth dimension is that of the renormalization scale represented by the Liouville field.

Molecular Oncology, EarlyView.Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

Mechanisms and therapeutic opportunities of the ribotoxic stress response in cancer
Molecular Oncology, EarlyView.Cancer cells' high translational demand creates opportunities to therapeutically target ribosome function. Ribosome stalling and collisions activate ZAKα and the ribotoxic stress response (RSR), which can trigger rapid, p53‐independent apoptosis in cancer.
