ABSTRACT This study systematically investigates the cavitation characteristics of a novel sleeve‐shaft counterrotating (SSCR) hydrodynamic cavitation reactor using computational fluid dynamics (CFD). Based on the RANS framework combined with the SST k–ω turbulence model and the Zwart–Gerber–Belamri cavitation model, the temporal–spatial evolution of ...

Cavitation resistance of refractory coatings
In this study, the resistance to the cavitation effect of three types of refractory samples based on talc with the addition of 10%, 15% and 20% cordierite was investigated. Talc has a fine structure, low hygroscopicity, insensitivity to temperature changes, low coefficient of thermal conductivity, low coefficient of linear thermal expansion, great ...

Leveraging bacterial hypoxia targeting, KBTO NPs accumulate at the tumor site. Under the ultrasound irradiation, KBTO NPs produce reactive oxygen species to kill tumor cells and eliminate bacteria, preventing overgrowth and inflammation. The lysed bacteria act as antigens to trigger antitumor immunity and further enhanced by the immune checkpoint ...
