Mechanism and suppression of breaking overvoltage of DC circuit breakers

open access: yesHigh Voltage, Volume 10, Issue 1, Page 32-46, February 2025.
Abstract The occurrence of breaking overvoltage in a DC circuit breaker (DCCB) poses a potential threat to the safe operation of a DC grid. Based on the structure of the ±10 kV three‐terminal DC distribution network, this paper sets up the medium‐voltage DCCB and formulates a fault protection strategy.

A Quadruplex Reverse Transcription Quantitative Polymerase Chain Reaction for Detecting Canine Coronavirus, Canine Rotavirus, Canine Parvovirus, and Canine Distemper Virus

open access: yesMicrobiology Research
Background: Canine coronavirus (CCoV), canine rotavirus (CRV), canine parvovirus (CPV), and canine distemper virus (CDV) cause gastroenteritis in dogs, and co-infections of these pathogens are common in China. In particular, CCoV and CRV are confirmed to

Recent Zoonotic Spillover and Tropism Shift of a Canine Coronavirus Is Associated with Relaxed Selection and Putative Loss of Function in NTD Subdomain of Spike Protein

open access: yesViruses, 2022
A canine coronavirus (CCoV) has now been reported from two independent human samples from Malaysia (respiratory, collected in 2017–2018; CCoV-HuPn-2018) and Haiti (urine, collected in 2017); these two viruses were nearly genetically identical.

CCoV-II infection modulates TRAIL protein expression.

open access: yes, 2013
(A) Cell lysates were collected at the indicated times p.i., and equal amounts of proteins from each sample were subjected to Western blot analysis and probed for TRAIL antibody which recognized the 28–30 KDa bands for TRAIL-R1 and TRAIL-R2, respectively.

Detection of Coronavirus (CCoV) in Dogs by Transmission Electron Microscopy Techniques

open access: yes
Abstract— Coronaviruses are known for their ability to cause gastrointestinal, respiratory, and central nervous system diseases in various species of avian, mammalian, and human hosts. In dogs, it is one of the most important viral agents causing gastroenteritis. Canine coronavirus is an emerging infectious disease affecting animals of all ages. Canine

Emergence of Canine Parvovirus Type 2a and Canine Enteric Coronavirus in Diarrheal Outbreaks Among Farmed Raccoon Dogs in China

open access: yesTransboundary and Emerging Diseases, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
Canine parvovirus (CPV) and canine enteric coronavirus (CCoV) are primary viral pathogens responsible for causing diarrhea in carnivores. CCoV infection generally induces mild enteritis, whereas infections solely by CPV or coinfections involving both CPV and CCoV frequently result in severe diarrhea and can lead to fatal outcomes in affected animals ...

Susceptibility of Ferret and Cat to Porcine Deltacoronavirus: Evidence of Infection in Ferrets But Not Cats

open access: yesTransboundary and Emerging Diseases, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
Coronaviruses (CoVs) cause gastrointestinal and respiratory disorders and have a wide host range. Porcine deltacoronavirus (PDCoV) is an enteropathogenic CoV and a member of the Deltacoronavirus (δ‐CoV) genus and was discovered in 2012. With a high fatality rate, PDCoV is primarily responsible for severe diarrhea in pigs, especially in newborn piglets,

CCoV-II infection modulates SIRT4 protein expression in mitochondrial fraction.

open access: yes, 2013
(A) Cell lysates were collected at the indicated times p.i., and equal amounts of proteins from each sample were subjected to Western blot analysis and probed for SIRT4. TIM50 was used as a loading control.
