Neutrophil surface expression of CD11b and CD62L in diabetic microangiopathy

Acta Diabetologica, 2008
The aims of the study are (1) assessment of cell surface expression of adhesion molecules CD11b and CD62L on peripheral blood neutrophils in patients with type 2 diabetes and microangiopathy; (2) analysis of serum levels of soluble adhesion molecules: E-selectin (sE-selectin), soluble intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (sICAM-1), soluble vascular cell ...

Ruminant cluster CD62L

Veterinary Immunology and Immunopathology, 1996
Within the Third Workshop, four monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) were considered to belong to this cluster: IAH-CC32 (3W-360), BAQ92 (3W-485), Buf44 (3W-452) and IVA94 (3W-563). IAH-CC32 was the workshop control and has previously been identified as a CD62L-specific mAb (Howard, C.J., Sopp, P. and Parsons, K.R., 1992. L-selectin expression differentiates T

Human CD62L– memory T cells are less responsive to alloantigen stimulation than CD62L+ naive T cells: potential for adoptive immunotherapy and allodepletion

Blood, 2004
AbstractSelective depletion of alloreactive T cells from allogeneic stem cell grafts can reduce graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) while preserving beneficial effects of T cells including facilitation of engraftment, protection against opportunistic infection, and reduced relapse risk.

Cell division predicts CD62L expression in vivo (83.6)

The Journal of Immunology, 2009
Abstract Naïve CD8+ T cells express a predominantly CD62Lhigh phenotype, but CD62L expression is rapidly lost during the effector phase of the immune response and only slowly regained during the memory phase. We used adoptive transfer of TCR-transgenic T cells followed by Listeria infection to study the dynamics of cell division and ...

CD62L expression in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia

Menoufia Medical Journal, 2019
Objective The objective of this study was to evaluate CD62L expression in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and its effect on survival of malignant B cells. Background CLL is the most common adult leukemia and often presents as an early-stage disease. It could be stable for many years with no or minimal intervention.

[Proliferative response of CD62L(-)/CD62L(+) T cells in mice to antigen stimulation].

Zhongguo shi yan xue ye xue za zhi, 2011
The aim of this study was to investigate the ability of CD62L(-)/CD62L(+) T cells responding to antigens so as to explore the role of CD62L in GVHD. The T cells were stimulated by DCs-presenting specific antigen hCD4; the expression of CD62L on surface of T cells was detected by flow cytometry, the CD62(-) T/CD62L(+) T cells were gained by sorting ...

CD62L expression identifies a unique subset of polyfunctional CD56dim NK cells

Blood, 2010
AbstractHuman natural killer (NK) cells comprise 2 main subsets, CD56bright and CD56dim cells, that differ in function, phenotype, and tissue localization. To further dissect the heterogeneity of CD56dim cells, we have performed transcriptome analysis and functional ex vivo characterization of human NK-cell subsets according to the expression of ...

The influence of ethanol extract Dioscorea alata L. on CD4+CD62L+ and CD8+CD62L+ profile of BALB/c mice model digestive tract allergy

AIP Conference Proceedings, 2016
Naive T cells and activated T cells express different adhesion molecules and patterns of migration. Naive T cells express CD62L. The research aims to assess the CD4+CD62L+ and CD8+CD62L+ profile of BALB/c mice model allergy on the sensitivity, the challenge and the gastrointestinal tract allergy phase after treatment with ethanol extract of Dioscorea ...

L-Selectin (CD62L) and Its Ligands

2012
Cell adhesion molecules are glycoproteins expressed on the cell surface and play an important role in inflammatory as well as neoplastic diseases. There are four main groups: the integrin family, the immunoglobulin superfamily, selectins, and cadherins. The integrin family has eight subfamilies, designated as β1 through β8.

CD62L Protein As a Potential Biomarker for Bladder Cancer

ECS Meeting Abstracts, 2017
Early detection of bladder cancer is crucial for improved patient outcomes, as patients see a sharp decline in 5-year survival rate from 80% to < 35%, at early or late stage diagnosis of the disease respectively. Gene expression studies indicated L-selectin (CD62L) as a potential protein biomarker indicative of metastatic bladder cancer.
