The globular cluster system of NGC 1399 V. dynamics of the cluster system out to 80 kpc [PDF]
(Abridged) We use the largest set of globular cluster velocities obtained so far of any elliptical galaxy to revise and extend the previous investigations of the dynamics of NGC 1399, the central dominant galaxy of the nearby Fornax cluster of galaxies ...

We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.

Functional analysis of CAX2-like transporters isolated from two ecotypes of Sedum alfredii
Two genes encoding CAX2-like proteins were isolated from a Zn/Cd hyperaccumulating ecotype (HE) and nonhyperaccumulating ecotype (NHE) of Sedum alfredii Hance, and they were named SaCAX2h and SaCAX2n, respectively.

Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

A Catalog of Digital Images of 113 Nearby Galaxies [PDF]
We present a digital catalog of images of 113 galaxies in this paper. These galaxies are all nearby, bright, large and well resolved. All images were recorded with charge coupled devices (CCDs) at the Palomar Observatory with the 1.5 meter telescope and ...

We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...
