Comparative study of CdTe sources used for deposition of CdTe thin films by close spaced sublimation technique

open access: yesMaterials Research, 2006
Unlike other thin film deposition techniques, close spaced sublimation (CSS) requires a short source-substrate distance. The kind of source used in this technique strongly affects the control of the deposition parameters, especially the deposition rate ...

HgTe-CdTe SUPERLATTICES [PDF]

open access: yesLe Journal de Physique Colloques, 1984
We report on a theoretical study of the electronic properties of HgTe-CdTe superlattices. The band gap as a function of layer thickness, effective masses normal to the layer plane and tunneling length are compared to the corresponding (Hg, Cd)Te alloys.

Selective growth of CdTe on patterned CdTe∕Si(211) [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Vacuum Science & Technology B: Microelectronics and Nanometer Structures Processing, Measurement, and Phenomena, 2008
The authors have studied selective growth of cadmium telluride on Si(211) by molecular beam epitaxy (MBE). Patterned substrates were produced by optical lithography of MBE-grown CdTe∕As∕Si(211). Photoemission microscopy was used as the main tool to study selective growth.

Rapid Synthesis of Thiol-Co-Capped-CdTe/CdSe/ZnSe Core Shell-Shell Nanoparticles: Their Optical and Structural Morphology

open access: yesNanomaterials, 2021
CdTe QDs has been demonstrated in many studies to possess good outstanding optical and photo-physical properties. However, it has been established from literature that the toxic Cd2+ that tends to leak out into nearby solutions can be protected by less ...

Fabrication of CdTe QDs/BiOI-Promoted TiO2 Hollow Microspheres with Superior Photocatalytic Performance Under Simulated Sunlight

open access: yesNanoscale Research Letters, 2019
Hollow and heterostructured architectures are recognized as an effective approach to improve photocatalytic performance. In this work, ternary TiO2/CdTe/BiOI with hollow structure was constructed via a step-by-step method. In addition, the effect of TiO2

Spin Injection Of Exciton–Polaritons With Halide Perovskites At Room Temperature

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A monolithic Tamm‐plasmon microcavity embedding a two‐dimensional halide perovskite enables room‐temperature spin injection of exciton‐polaritons under quasi‐resonant optical excitation. Polarization‐resolved spectroscopy reveals partial preservation of the injected spin in the lower polariton branch, while bare excitons remain fully depolarized.
