First-principles DFT + GW study of the Te antisite in CdTe
Formation energies, charge transitions levels, and quasiparticle defect states of the tellurium antisite $(\text{Te}_\text{Cd})$ in CdTe are addressed within the DFT${0.05cm}+{0.05cm}$\emph{GW} formalism.

This review explores how alternative invertebrate and small‐vertebrate models advance the evaluation of nanomaterials across medicine and environmental science. By bridging cellular and organismal levels, these models enable integrated assessment of toxicity, biodistribution, and therapeutic performance.

Dynamics of native oxide growth on CdTe and CdZnTe X-ray and gamma-ray detectors
We studied the growth of the surface oxide layer on four different CdTe and CdZnTe X-ray and gamma-ray detector-grade samples using spectroscopic ellipsometry. We observed gradual oxidization of CdTe and CdZnTe after chemical etching in bromine solutions.

The CdTe cap layers were grown on CdZnTe-substrated HgCdTe (MCT) LPE epilayers by magnetron sputtering and thermal evaporation. The diffusion behaviors of Cd & Hg components and impurities (As or In) in these CdTe/MCT structures subjected to As ion ...

We demonstrate successful fabrication of high‐quality α‐Sn/β‐Sn planar nanostructures with arbitrary shapes by focused laser irradiation on topological Dirac semimetal α‐Sn thin films. The irradiated regions transform into atomically smooth, superconducting β‐Sn with a critical temperature of 3.7 K.

A one-dimensional model for the growth of CdTe quantum dots on Si substrates
Recent experiments involving CdTe films grown on Si(111) substrates by hot wall epitaxy revealed features not previously observed [S. O. Ferreira \textit{et al.}, J. Appl. Phys. \textbf{93}, 1195 (2003)].

Integrated Lead/Iodine Management for Sustainable Perovskite Solar Modules
Perovskite solar modules face environmental risks from lead and iodine leakage. A dual‐function adsorbent—porphyrin‐modified whitlockite nanocomposites—effectively captures iodine and Pb2+, even under severe damage. Combined with a semi‐closed recycling process, it recovers 96.9% high‐purity PbI2 and reduces residual Pb2+ to <10 ppb, offering an ...

A Comparative Study on the Optical Properties of Multilayer CdSe / CdTe Thin Film with Single Layer CdTe and CdSe Films [PDF]
CdTe and CdSe single layer thin films and CdSe / CdTe multilayer (ML) thin film were prepared by using physical vapour deposition method. Optical properties of CdSe / CdTe multilayer thin film shows different behavior due to type II band structure ...
