Unstable Modes and Confinement in the Lattice Schr\"odinger Functional Approach

open access: yes, 1996
We analyze the problem of the Nielsen-Olesen unstable modes in the SU(2) lattice gauge theory by means of a recently introduced gauge-invariant effective action. We perform numerical simulations in the case of a constant Abelian chromomagnetic field.

Potent immunomodulatory effects of an anti-CEA-IL-2 immunocytokine on tumor therapy and effects of stereotactic radiation

open access: yesOncoImmunology, 2020
While anti-CEA antibodies have no direct effect on CEA-positive tumors, they can be used to direct potent anti-tumor effects as an antibody-IL-2 fusion protein (immunocytokine, ICK), and at the same time reduce the toxicity of IL-2 as a single agent ...

Indications on the Higgs boson mass from lattice simulations

open access: yes, 2003
The `triviality' of $\Phi^4_4$ has been traditionally interpreted within perturbation theory where the prediction for the Higgs boson mass depends on the magnitude of the ultraviolet cutoff $\Lambda$. This approach crucially assumes that the vacuum field

Fusion Expression and Affinity Identification of Two scFvs Against CEA or CA19-9 in HEK293 Cells

open access: yesZhongliu Fangzhi Yanjiu, 2019
Objective To express two scFv-Fc fusion proteins of anti-CEA scFv-Fc and anti-CA19-9 scFv-Fc in HEK293 cells efficiently, and to determinate the affinity of two single chain antibodies. Methods Two scFv gene sequences obtained from GenBank were optimized

RXJ1856.5-3754 and RXJ0720.4-3125 are P-Stars

open access: yes, 2004
P-stars are a new class of compact stars made of up and down quarks in $\beta$-equilibrium with electrons in a chromomagnetic condensate. P-stars are able to account for compact stars with $R \lesssim 6 Km$, as well as stars comparable to canonical ...

High Nutrient Concentrations of Hydroponic Solution Can Improve Growth and Nutrient Uptake of Spinach (Spinacia oleracea L.) Grown in Acidic Nutrient Solution

open access: yesHortScience, 2021
Hydroponic leafy green production offers high productivity and quality of crops but requires good management of pH and electrical conductivity (EC) to optimize the nutrient uptake.

Investigations on the deconfining phase transition in QCD [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
We investigate the deconfining phase transition in SU(3) pure gauge theory and in full QCD with two flavors of staggered fermions by means of a gauge invariant thermal partition functional.

EPIDERMAL GROWTH FACTOR RECEPTOR (EGFR) AND CARCINOEMBRYONIC ANTIGEN (CEA) RELATIONSHIP OF LUNG ADENOKARSINOMA IN SAIFUL ANWAR HOSPITA MALANG

open access: yesBerkala Kedokteran, 2017
: EGFR mutations is associated with sensitivity to tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKI’s) therapy which are found in Lung Adenocarcinoma. There are some limitations in detecting EGFR mutation.

Exploring the Dynamics of Three-Dimensional Lattice Gauge Theories by External Fields

open access: yes, 1993
We investigate the dynamics of three-dimensional lattice gauge theories by means of an external Abelian magnetic field. For the SU(2) lattice gauge theory we find evidence of the unstable modes.Comment: 3 pages, PostScript. Contribution to the LATTICE 93

The SU(2) Confining Vacuum as a Dual Superconductor [PDF]

open access: yes, 1995
We investigate the dual superconductivity hypothesis in pure SU(2) lattice gauge theory. We find evidence of the dual Meissner effect both in the maximally Abelian gauge and without gauge fixing.
