Estimating topological entropy of multidimensional nonlinear cellular automata [PDF]
Cellular automata are discrete dynamical systems whose configurations are determined by local rules acting on each cell in synchronous. Topological entoropy is a tool for measuring the complexity of these dynamical systems.

Proteomic and phosphoproteomic analyses were performed on lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) tumors with EGFR, KRAS, or EML4–ALK alterations and wild‐type cases. Distinct protein expression and phosphorylation patterns were identified, especially in EGFR‐mutated tumors. Key altered pathways included vesicle transport and RNA splicing.

This study investigated how PYCR1 inhibition in bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs) indirectly affects multiple myeloma (MM) cell metabolism and viability. Culturing MM cells in conditioned medium from PYCR1‐silenced BMSCs impaired oxidative phosphorylation and increased sensitivity to bortezomib.

A Probabilistic Cellular Automaton for Evolution
We study two variants of a binary model for Darwinian Coevolution in an ecosystem of interacting species based on a model recently proposed by Bak and Sneppen [1]. We present results from a computer simulation and an improved mean-field calculation, including exponents, critical points and probability of certain spin configurations.

This study highlights the potential of automated enumeration using the ACCEPT software to refine circulating tumor cell (CTC) detection in metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC). The automated method demonstrates improved accuracy and reduced variability compared to the manual approach.

Relating SARS-CoV-2 variants using cellular automata imaging
We classify the main variants of the SARS-CoV-2 virus representing a given biological sequence coded as a symbolic digital sequence and by its evolution by a cellular automata with a properly chosen rule.

Implementation of Logical Functions in the Game of Life [PDF]
The Game of Life cellular automaton is a classical example of a massively parallel collision-based computing device. The automaton exhibits mobile patterns, gliders, and generators of the mobile patterns, glider guns, in its evolution.

The dynamical origin of the universality classes of spatiotemporal intermittency
Studies of the phase diagram of the coupled sine circle map lattice have identified the presence of two distinct universality classes of spatiotemporal intermittency viz.

In over 50% of non‐metastatic breast cancer patients, circulating tumor cells (CTCs) along the whole epithelial‐mesenchymal transition spectrum are detected. Total CTC number and individual phenotypes relate to aggressive disease characteristics, including lymph node involvement and higher tumor proliferation. At the single‐cell level, mesenchymal CTCs

A method is known by which any integer \(\, n\geq2\,\) in a metric Cantor space of right-infinite words \(\,\tilde{A}_{n}^{\,\mathbb N}\,\) gives a construction of a non-injective cellular automaton \(\,(\tilde{A}_{n}^{\,\mathbb N},\,\tilde{F}_{n}),\,\)
