Distribution models of polysphinctine parasitoid wasps (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae) reveal sampling bias and flag potentially overlooked host interactions

We quantified the geographical overlap between parasitoid wasps and their known host spiders. We could assess which parasitoid species have more limited information about their interactions and are subject to geographical survey bias. We generated sampling bias maps to assist other researchers in identifying where the main sampling gaps are.

Abstract Introduction Forest fragmentation and defaunation are major drivers of biodiversity loss in the Atlantic Forest of Brazil, where 70–90% of tree species depend on animal‐mediated seed dispersal. Reintroduction of large frugivores, such as cracids, is being used to restore species populations and lost ecological functions.

Foram estudados dois clones de Eucalyptus com densidades básicas de 447 e 552 kg/m³. O processo kraft foi utilizado para a produção de celulose, tendo sido aplicadas diferentes cargas de álcali para se obterem polpas com número kappa 18 ± 0,5.
