AbstractFibro‐osseous cemental lesions of the jaw remain a controversial area of bone/cementum pathology. This article describes the clinicopathological features of 28 lesions classified as gigantiform cementoma. Black women are affected more frequently than other race and sex groups, with a peak frequency of occurrence in the fourth and fifth decades.

Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, 1974Abstract Two new cases of benign cementoblastoma (true cementoma) are added to the literature. One occurred in a 36-year-old man and the other in a 16-year-old girl. Both odontogenic apical tumors were located at the level of the first and second right lower molars and have not recurred 4 years and 1 year, respectively, after extirpation.

Dentomaxillofacial Radiology, 1983Benign cementoblastoma is not a common lesion hence this case is reported. The lesion was found on films taken for routine dental evaluation. The appearance on the panoramic film was consistant with benign cementoblastoma. This was confirmed at surgery, and pathological investigation.
