This long‐term follow‐up study determined survival rates in a Swedish national cohort of 417 patients with breast cancer who all had neoadjuvant systemic therapy (NAST). Sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB) was performed before NAST in clinically node‐negative and after NAST in clinically node‐positive patients.

The Dynamics of Neurofilament Light Chain in Spinal Muscular Atrophy
Objective Newborn screening (NBS) for spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) facilitates early diagnosis and treatment for affected individuals. However, fluid biomarkers that provide early insights into disease activity and outcomes in a neonatal cohort and those unable to access (due to reimbursement criteria) or deferring immediate treatment are lacking ...

Quantiles for Fractions and Other Mixed Data [PDF]
This paper studies the estimation of quantile regression for fractional data, focusing on the case where there are mass-points at zero or/and one. More generally, we propose a simple strategy for the estimation of the conditional quantiles of data from ...

Daily‐Life, Sensor‐Derived Tremor Measures Are Sensitive to Progression in Early Parkinson's Disease
Objective Sensitive outcome measures are critical for evaluating the efficacy of novel treatments for Parkinson's disease (PD). In this study, we assess the sensitivity to change of sensor‐derived daily‐life tremor measures over 2 years in unmedicated and medicated persons with early PD.

Inference under progressively type II right censored sampling for certain lifetime distributions
In this paper, estimation of the parameters of a certain family of two-parameter lifetime distributions based on progressively Type II right censored samples (including ordinary Type II right censoring) is studied.

Objective Accurately predicting future hemorrhagic events in patients with cerebral amyloid angiopathy (CAA) remains a major clinical challenge. It is unknown whether cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) biomarkers of amyloid‐beta (Aβ) pathology are associated with increased hemorrhage risk in this population.

A Partially Linear Censored Quantile Regression Model for Unemployment Duration [PDF]
Censored Regression Quantile (CRQ) methods provide a powerful and flexible approach for the analysis of censored survival data when standard linear models are felt to be appropriate.

Genetic‐Proteomic Integration Identifies Predictive Plasma Proteins for Multiple Sclerosis
Objective Multiple sclerosis (MS) develops after a prolonged preclinical phase. Identifying circulating biomarkers that capture this early biology can improve risk stratification and guide intervention. We aimed to identify plasma proteins driving MS susceptibility using large‐scale proteogenomic integration and to evaluate their prediagnostic ...

In multiple sclerosis (MS), anti‐CD20 therapies have been associated with increased infection risk, but whether this risk differs between rituximab and ocrelizumab is not known. Using a nationwide cohort, we studied infection risk and relapse outcomes among 16,872 treatment episodes with rituximab, ocrelizumab, or other disease‐modifying therapies ...
