Universal Curves in the Center Problem for Abel Differential Equations
We study the center problem for the class $\mathcal E_\Gamma$ of Abel differential equations $\frac{dv}{dt}=a_1 v^2+a_2 v^3$, $a_1,a_2\in L^\infty ([0,T])$, such that images of Lipschitz paths $\tilde A:=\bigl(\int_0^\cdot a_1(s)ds, \int_0^\cdot a_2(s)ds\

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

Water scarcity can mean scarcity in availability due to physical shortage, or scarcity in access due to the failure of institutions to ensure a continuously regular supply or due to a lack of adequate infrastructure. Water scarcity will be exacerbated as

Reducing Electricity Demand Charge for Data Centers with Partial Execution
Data centers consume a large amount of energy and incur substantial electricity cost. In this paper, we study the familiar problem of reducing data center energy cost with two new perspectives. First, we find, through an empirical study of contracts from

Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

On the validity of the guiding-center approximation in the presence of strong magnetic gradients
The motion of a charged particle in a nonuniform straight magnetic field with a uniform magnetic-field gradient is solved exactly in terms of elliptic functions. The connection between this problem and the guiding-center approximation is discussed. It is

Therapeutic strategies for MMAE‐resistant bladder cancer through DPP4 inhibition
We established monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE)‐resistant bladder cancer (BC) cell lines by exposure to progressively increasing concentrations of MMAE in vitro. RNA sequencing showed DPP4 expression was increased in MMAE‐resistant BC cells. Both si‐DPP4 and the DPP4 inhibitor sitagliptin suppressed the viability of MMAE‐resistant BC cells.

We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.

An attention model with multiple decoders for solving p-Center problems
The p-Center Problem (PCP) is a classical discrete facility location problem (FLP) with broad real-world application scenarios, such as public facilities and urban emergency services facilities.
