α2 → 8 polysialic acid elicits poor immunogenicity. Small‐angle scattering shows a supramolecular structure with parallel‐chain binding, although in different forms at μm and mm calcium. The major histocompatibility complex requires molecular weights around 2000 Da to produce antibodies, and 2000 Da polysialic oligomers will bind in these structures ...

Rings in which every nilpotent is central [PDF]
In this paper, we introduce a class of rings in which every nilpotent element is central. This class of rings generalizes so-called reduced rings. A ring $R$ is called {\it central reduced} if every nilpotent element of $R$ is central. For a ring $R$, we prove that $R$ is central reduced if and only if $R[x_1,x_2,\ldots,x_n]$ is central reduced if ...

Venom peptides have shown promise in treating pain. Our study uses computer screening to identify a peptide that targets a sodium channel (NaV1.7) linked to chronic pain. We produced the peptide in the laboratory and refined its design, advancing the search for innovative pain therapies.

Assessment of Effect of Flux Scheme and Turbulence Model on Blade-to-blade Calculations [PDF]
Today, due to advances in computing power, Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) solvers are widely preferred for quasi-three-dimensional (Q3D) blade-to-blade analysis.

We develop a natural generalization to the notion of the central path -- a notion that lies at the heart of interior-point methods for convex optimization. The generalization is accomplished via the "derivative cones" of a "hyperbolicity cone," the derivatives being direct and mathematically-appealing relaxations of the underlying (hyperbolic) conic ...

The power of microRNA regulation—insights into immunity and metabolism
MicroRNAs are emerging as crucial regulators at the intersection of metabolism and immunity. This review examines how miRNAs coordinate glucose and lipid metabolism while simultaneously modulating T‐cell development and immune responses. Moreover, it highlights how cutting‐edge artificial intelligence applications can identify miRNA biomarkers ...
