Many-Particle Configurations in a Central Field

Physical Review, 1954
Closed formulas are obtained for the fractional parentage coefficients of $j\ensuremath{-}j$ coupled configurations of three and four equivalent particles. In states of low seniority, these formulas can be used to simplify the calculation of familiar types of matrix elements. Some extension is made to the study of more complex configurations.

The central drop configurations

Celestial Mechanics, 1985
This paper deals with the investigation of central configurations consisting of a point body, a homogeneous sphere and some drops of homogeneous ideal fluid. The existence of such central configurations, as well as the stability of the drops in linear approximation, has been proved by using the virial method [\textit{S.

On Wintner’s Conjecture About Central Configurations

2005
According to Wintner, the study of central configurations in celestial mechanics may be reduced to an extremality problem. Wintner's Conjecture amounts to saying that the corresponding extremal zeroes for each fixed number n of different masses is finite.
