Influence of global correlations on central limit theorems and entropic extensivity [PDF]
We consider probabilistic models of N identical distinguishable, binary random variables. If these variables are strictly or asymptotically independent, then, for N→∞, (i) the attractor in distribution space is, according to the standard central limit ...

Probing Near‐Field EM Fluctuations in Superparamagnetic CoFeB With NV Quantum Dephasometry
We non‐invasively investigate the superparamagnetic spin dynamics of a 1.1 nm CoFeB layer by probing its near‐field EM fluctuations using NV centers‐based quantum dephasometry. Our findings are further supported by theoretical modeling and SQUID‐based magnetization characterization. These results provide critical insight into the magnetization dynamics

New limit theorems for regular diffusion processes with finite speed measure [PDF]
We derive limit theorems for diffusion processes that have a finite speed measure. First we prove a number of asymptotic properties of the density $rho_t = dmu_t /dmu$ of the empirical measure $mu_t$ with respect to the normalized speed measure $mu ...

Variance bounding and geometric ergodicity of Markov chain Monte Carlo kernels for approximate Bayesian computation [PDF]
Approximate Bayesian computation has emerged as a standard computational tool when dealing with intractable likelihood functions in Bayesian inference. We show that many common Markov chain Monte Carlo kernels used to facilitate inference in this setting

Waveguide Photoactuators: Materials, Fabrication, and Applications
Waveguide photoactuators convert guided light into mechanical motion. Their tethered‐flexible design enables minimally invasive surgery and confined‐space robotics. This review aims to guide materials selection, device design, and system integration, accelerating the transition of waveguide photoactuators from laboratory prototypes to versatile ...

Mean Field Spin Glass Models under Weak External Field
We study the fluctuation and limiting distribution of free energy in mean-field spin glass models with Ising spins under weak external fields. We prove that at high temperature, there are three sub-regimes concerning the strength of external field $h ...

On mean central limit theorems for stationary sequences [PDF]
In this paper, we give estimates of the minimal ${\mathbb{L}}^1$ distance between the distribution of the normalized partial sum and the limiting Gaussian distribution for stationary sequences satisfying projective criteria in the style of Gordin or weak

New High‐Tc Charge‐Transfer Multiferroicity in the Quasi‐2D Antiferromagnet CrSbS3
ABSTRACT Low‐dimensional magnets, particularly 2D systems, offer a rich platform for realizing unconventional multiferroic mechanisms, especially when multiple polarization channels coexist. In the quasi‐2D antiferromagnet CrSbS3, which crystallizes in the centrosymmetric orthorhombic space group Pnma and orders magnetically at TN ≈ 90 K, two ...

This perspective proposes a cohesive machine learning strategy to decode microplastic aging. It advocates for Federated Learning to dismantle global data silos and introduces the TRACE framework (TRansport, Aging, Corona, Ecotoxicity). By integrating physics‐informed modeling with causal discovery, this approach bridges the laboratory‐field gap to ...

Unusual limit theorems for the two tailed Pareto distribution
We examine order statistics from a two sided Pareto distribution. It turns out that the smallest two order statistics and the two largest order statistics have very unusual limits.
