Continuum Mechanics Modeling of Flexible Spring Joints in Surgical Robots
A new mechanical model of a tendon‐actuated helical extension spring joint in surgical robots is built using Cosserat rod theory. The model can implicitly handle the unknown contacts between adjacent coils and numerically predict spring shapes from straight to significantly bent under actuation forces.

The Vertex Algebra M(1)+ and Certain Affine Vertex Algebras of Level −1
We give a coset realization of the vertex operatoralgebra $M(1)^+$ with central charge $ell$. We realize $M(1) ^+$as a commutant of certain affine vertex algebras of level $-1$ inthe vertex algebra $L_{C_{ell} ^{(1)}}(-frac{1}{2}Lambda_0)otimes L_{C_ ...

Cohomological invariants of odd degree Jordan algebras [PDF]
In this paper we determine all possible cohomological invariants of Aut(J)-torsors in Galois cohomology with mod 2 coefficients (characteristic of the base field not 2), for J a split central simple Jordan algebra of odd degree n ≥ 3.

Generating graded central simple algebras
We solve the generator problem for Z-graded central simple algebras. Applications are given to automorphisms of trace rings of generic matrices and to periodic fat-point ...

Nonassociative cyclic extensions of fields and central simple algebras [PDF]
We define nonassociative cyclic extensions of degree m of both fields andcentral simple algebras over fields. If a suitable field contains a primitive mth (resp., qth) root of unity, we show that suitable nonassociative generalized cyclic division ...

This work presents a state‐adaptive Koopman linear quadratic regulator framework for real‐time manipulation of a deformable swab tool in robotic environmental sampling. By combining Koopman linearization, tactile sensing, and centroid‐based force regulation, the system maintains stable contact forces and high coverage across flat and inclined surfaces.

A Perspective on Interactive Theorem Provers in Physics
Into an interactive theorem provers (ITPs), one can write mathematical definitions, theorems and proofs, and the correctness of those results is automatically checked. This perspective goes over the best usage of ITPs within physics and motivates the open‐source community run project PhysLean, the aim of which is to be a library for digitalized physics

Central simple algebras with involution: a geometric approach [PDF]
Let $k$ be an algebraically closed base field of characteristic zero. The category equivalence between central simple algebras and irreducible, generically free $PGL_n$-varieties is extended to the context of central simple algebras with involution.

Type II1 factors satisfying the spatial isomorphism conjecture [PDF]
This paper addresses a conjecture in the work by Kadison and Kastler [Kadison RV, Kastler D (1972) Am J Math 94:38–54] that a von Neumann algebra M on a Hilbert space H should be unitarily equivalent to each sufficiently close von Neumann algebra N, and,
