GraphGrind: addressing load imbalance of graph partitioning [PDF]
The incidence of HCAIs before and after antimicrobial stewardship. Incidence of VAP, CRBSI and CAUTI were defined as the number of VAP, CRBSI and CAUTI patients per 1000 ventilation days, per 1000 central venous catheter days and per 1000 urine-catheter ...

A nano‐interception strategy disrupts pathogenic fibroblast–macrophage crosstalk in chronic heart failure. Scalable Prussian blue nanoparticles selectively sequester CCL2 via ultrahigh‐affinity binding, preventing CCR2+ macrophage recruitment and breaking a key fibro‐inflammatory circuit. This approach demonstrates robust efficacy in murine and porcine

An unusual Complication of Central Venous Cannulation [PDF]
Central venous catheter (CVC) hub fracture is a rare complication of central venous cannulation. We report a case where catheter hub fracture was detected immediately after CVC insertion.

Angioarchitectural evolution of clival dural arteriovenous fistulas in two patients. [PDF]
Dural arteriovenous fistulas (dAVFs) may present in a variety of ways, including as carotid-cavernous sinus fistulas. The ophthalmologic sequelae of carotid-cavernous sinus fistulas are known and recognizable, but less commonly seen is the rare clival ...

A multifunctional heparinized polyamide membrane embedded with graphene quantum dots (GQDs) and hyperbranched polyethyleneimine (HPEI) is engineered for efficient bilirubin removal via a one‐step anticoagulation–adsorption process. The membrane demonstrates enhanced hemocompatibility, prolonged clotting times, and high bilirubin adsorption capacity ...

Nitric Oxide‐Generating Poly (allylamine hydrochloride) Coating on Biomedical Titanium Implant
We report a metal‐free, nitric oxide (NO)‐generating coating in which poly(allylamine hydrochloride) (PAH) is covalently immobilized onto titanium. The coating catalyzes NO generation from the endogenous S‐nitrosothiol GSNO, retains activity after multiple reuse cycles and pH exposures, and maintains endothelial cell viability while modulating ...

A Pressure Microsensor Made of Parylene‐C for Use as Medical Implant
A monolithic parylene‐C pressure sensor with gold strain gauges provides 6.2 μV$\mu{\rm V}$·mmHg$\cdot{\rm mmHg}$−1$^{-1}$ sensitivity. The morphology of a sputtered thin film strain sensor is granular/columnar, which results in a high gauge factor of 7.5. Thermal bonding and parylene‐C coating create a hermetic cavity.
