Engineered macrophages programmed in situ by LNP‐delivered IL‐6/4 fusion and LL37 mRNAs simultaneously dampen cytokine storm, promote M2‐like repair, and enhance direct bacterial killing in sepsis. This combinatorial strategy restores T cell and macrophage function, lowers organ bacterial burden, and improves survival, highlighting a precision, host ...

Improvement in Efficiency and Operating Range of Centrifugal Blower Stage for Sewage Aeration Blower [PDF]
We developed a high-efficiency, wide-operating-range centrifugal blower stage to meet the demand for reduced total energy-consumption in sewage treatment plants. We improved the efficiency of the two-dimensional impeller using a shape optimization tool and one-dimensional performance prediction tool.

Abstract Background Dentitions have diversified enormously during vertebrate evolution, involving reductions, modifications, or allocations to prey seizing and processing regions. A combination of ancient and novel features related to dental and oropharyngeal apparatuses is found in extant lineages of non‐teleost fishes, such as the gars.

Forced Draught Impact on Externally Venting Flames: An Experimental and Numerical Investigation
ABSTRACT Wind can significantly influence fire development and spread in urban and forest environments causing fatal consequences for the public, the first responders, and the environment. Wind‐driven fires can have a significant impact on structural fires as wind can increase the fire's intensity, development, and flame spread.

The study on the Flow in a Centrifugal Blower Impeller
In this study, the relative flow patterns of a centrifugal blower impeller were visualized by the spark tracing method. The stationary image of flow patterns in the rotating impeller was observed using the rotating image stopping processor. In this way, the flow patterns near the inlet of impeller and blade tip were caught using line and needle type ...
