Fabrication of High‐Density Multimodal Neural Probes Based on Heterogeneously Integrated CMOS

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 34, 19 June 2026.
A chiplet‐based methodology democratizes active neural probe development on standard bulk CMOS services. This yields the first probe combining high‐density electrophysiology (416 electrodes) with calcium imaging (832 photodiodes) and complete on‐chip signal processing across 13 shanks.

The spread of non‐native species

open access: yesBiological Reviews, Volume 101, Issue 3, Page 1197-1234, June 2026.
ABSTRACT The global redistribution of species through human agency is one of the defining ecological signatures of the Anthropocene, with biological invasions reshaping biodiversity patterns, ecosystem processes and services, and species interactions globally.

Impact of Cardiovascular Specialty Care Based on the Humanistic Concept on Medication Adherence, Glycolipid Metabolism Parameters, and Quality of Life in High‐Risk Cardiovascular Patients With Lipid Management

open access: yesClinical Cardiology, Volume 49, Issue 6, June 2026.
This retrospective study of 115 high‐risk cardiovascular patients demonstrated that humanistic concept‐based cardiovascular specialty nursing significantly improved medication adherence (95.00% vs. 81.82%, p < 0.05), glycolipid metabolism (HbA1c, FPG, 2hPG, TG, TC, LDL‐C), anxiety levels (S‐AI and T‐AI), self‐management ability (ESCA), and quality of ...

Making Two out of One: Kinesin Motors Driving Plant Cell Division

open access: yesCytoskeleton, Volume 83, Issue 6, Page 384-393, June 2026.
ABSTRACT The Kinesin superfamily of microtubule dependent motors is present in all eukaryotes. Not all of the subfamilies are represented in all kingdoms, and the ones that are do not always show conserved functions. Tight control of the cytoskeleton is essential for proper progression and completion of mitosis and cytokinesis, and key functions are ...
