Isoflavone glycosides from Centrosema pubescens
Phytochemistry, 1999Abstract Afromosin 7- O - β - d -apiofuranosyl- (1→2)- β - d -glucopyranoside, was isolated from the seeds of Centrosema pubescens , together with the known afromosin 7- O - β - d -glucopyranoside and irisolidone 7- O - β - d -glucopiranoside. Their structures were established by spectroscopic and chemical methods.

Foliar blight in Centrosema pubescens (Benth.) in southwestern Nigeria
Mycopathologia, 1997The etiology and epidemiology of leaf blight of centro (Centrosema pubescens Benth.) was investigated at Ibadan, southwestern Nigeria, in the lowland humid tropics. Rhizoctonia solani was associated with the leaf blight of centro. The pathogen was harboured by Rottboellia cochinchiensis, a weed growing within and outside the centro plot.
