Oxygenophilic Cerium Promotes Active Species Generation and Modulates the Interfacial Water Network in Electrocatalytic Water Oxidation

CeO2 dendrites are introduced to modify the NiSx/C3N4 nanorods, constructing hexagonal star‐like forest arrays (CeO2@NiSx/C3N4). The oxophilicity of Ce species generates abundant oxygen vacancies, which subsequently facilitate the in situ evolution of active amorphous NiOOH.
