Medical Informatics, 1991This paper describes a principled attempt to use artificial intelligence methodologies for interpretation of lateral skull X-ray images. Lateral skull X-ray images are routinely used in cephalometric analysis to provide quantitative measurements useful to clinical orthodontists.
