Access to diagnosis using liquid biopsy (ADLiB): Identifying lymphoma in a tuberculosis‐endemic setting

open access: yesHemaSphere, Volume 10, Issue 6, June 2026.
Abstract In HIV‐ and tuberculosis (TB)‐endemic regions, lymphoma diagnosis is often delayed because symptoms can overlap with TB, and access to biopsy and specialized pathology is limited. To address this, we developed and internally evaluated the Access to Diagnosis using Liquid Biopsy (ADLiB) platform—a plasma cell‐free DNA (cfDNA)‐based approach ...

The Components of Cepheid Systems: The FN Vel System

open access: yesThe Astronomical Journal
Cepheid masses continue to be important tests of evolutionary tracks for intermediate-mass stars as well as important predictors of their future fate.

Multiwavelength light curve parameters of Cepheid variables [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2017
We present a comparative analysis of theoretical and observed light curves of Cepheid variables using Fourier decomposition. The theoretical light curves at multiple wavelengths are generated using stellar pulsation models for chemical compositions representative of Cepheids in the Galaxy and Magellanic Clouds.

Baseline Data on Viral Suppression, Treatment Adherence and Mental Health in Peripartum Girls and Young Women With HIV in Zimbabwe

open access: yesJournal of the International AIDS Society, Volume 29, Issue S1, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Introduction Peripartum adolescent girls and young women (AGYW) with HIV have lower viral suppression compared to older women. But the recently introduced dolutegravir‐based regimens and psychosocial peer motivation may improve viral control.

Chicago–Carnegie Hubble Program: A Multiwavelength Search for the Effects of Metallicity on the Cepheid Distance Scale. I. Empirical Evidence

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
Understanding the effects of metallicity on the multiwavelength properties of Cepheids is of continuing importance for their effective use as extragalactic distance indicators and an accurate measure of the Hubble constant, H _0 .

A Framework for Emergency Department–Integrated Hepatitis C Test‐and‐Treat in the United States

open access: yesJournal of Viral Hepatitis, Volume 33, Issue 6, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Despite the availability of curative, direct‐acting antiviral therapy, hepatitis C virus elimination remains incomplete. Losses across the care cascade continue to limit impact, from initial diagnosis to sustained virologic response. Fewer than 1/3 of individuals ultimately achieve cure. These gaps reflect a delivery system that does not align

The Cepheid Distance Scale: A Novel Method for Obtaining Mean Magnitudes from Single-epoch Observations

open access: yesThe Astronomical Journal
We present a novel technique for mapping single-phase observations of Cepheids in any given band into their time-averaged values, using strong priors on the known interrelations of the multiwavelength widths of Cepheid period–luminosity (PL) relations ...

Multiwavelength Light-Curve Analysis of Cepheid Variables [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the International Astronomical Union, 2017
AbstractThis poster presented results from a detailed analysis of observed and theoretical light-curves of classical Cepheid variables in the Galaxy and the Magellanic Clouds. The theoretical light-curves were based on non-linear convective hydrodynamical pulsation models; the observational data were taken from ongoing wide-field variability surveys ...

Incidence of HIV and HCV Among People Who Inject Drugs in Montreal, Canada: Data From the HEPCO Longitudinal Cohort Study, 2011–2025

open access: yesJournal of Viral Hepatitis, Volume 33, Issue 6, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Ongoing monitoring of hepatitis C virus (HCV) and HIV incidence among people who inject drugs (PWID) is important for epidemic control and assessing progress towards disease elimination. We estimated trends in HIV and HCV infection incidence in a community‐based cohort of PWID in Montreal, Canada.
