Using our non-local and time-dependent theory of convection and a fixed set of convective parameters (C1, C2/C1 , C3)= (0.70, 0.50, 3.0) calibrated against the Sun, the linear non-adiabatic oscillations for evolutionary models with masses 1–20 M ...

In children with presumptive tuberculosis, comprehensive point‐of‐care (cPOCUS) identified key thoracic abnormalities with high specificity and excellent inter‐reader reliability. Although diagnostic sensitivity was modest and examinations often incomplete, cPOCUS shows promise as a complementary, radiation‐free imaging tool.

Home telemonitoring in high‐risk pregnancies: A Finnish retrospective cohort study
This retrospective study suggests that home telemonitoring may provide an acceptable approach for managing selected high‐risk pregnancies. Safe and effective implementation requires careful patient selection and adherence to evidence‐based clinical protocols.

It is beneficial to calibrate the period–Wesenheit–metallicity relation (PWZR) of Delta Cephei stars (DCEPs), i.e., classical Cepheids, using accurate parallaxes of associated open clusters (OCs) from Gaia data release 3 (DR3).

The luminosity scale of Cepheid variable stars - A revison
The period-luminosity-color relation for classical Cepheids is discussed in terms of a recent redeterminations of the distance moduli of open clusters with Cepheid members. The distance moduli of eight clusters with well established Cepheid members were determined from Stromgren four-color and Hp photometry of the B stars.

Mass of Cepheid V350 Sgr Incorporating Interferometry and the Companion Mass
The system V350 Sgr has a classical Cepheid for the primary. Interferometry is presented for the system, and the full orbit is determined. The mass of the companion has been determined from an International Ultraviolet Explorer spectrum and comparison ...

We present the first gri -band period–luminosity (PL) and period–Wesenheit (PW) relations for the fundamental mode anomalous Cepheids. These PL and PW relations were derived from a combined sample of five anomalous Cepheids in globular cluster M92 and ...

New variable and multiple stars in the lower part of the Cepheid instability strip [PDF]
We obtained high-resolution spectra for 33 A-type stars during 4 consecutive nights. All our targets are Hipparcos programme stars located in the lower part of the Cepheid instability strip which show hints for variability in radial velocity of a yet ...
