Ceramic microtubes from preceramic polymers [PDF]
A novel process for the production ceramic microtubes, involving the micro-extrusion of preceramic polymers, is here reported. Microtubes with a wide range of inner and outer diameters, and several centimeters long were produced from two silicone resins.

The stability criteria affecting the formation of high‐entropy alloys, particularly focusing in supersaturated solid solutions produced by mechanical alloying, are analyzed. Criteria based on Hume–Rothery rules are distinguished from those derived from thermodynamic relations. The formers are generally applicable to mechanically alloyed samples.
