Monolithic integrated ceramic waveguide filters [PDF]

open access: yes2014 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium (IMS2014), 2014
Design techniques for a new class of integrated monolithic high permittivity ceramic waveguide filters are presented. These filters enable a size reduction of 50% compared to air-filled TEM filters with the same unloaded Q-Factor. Designs for both chebyshev and asymmetric generalized chebyshev filter are presented, with experimental results for an 1800

Processing and Properties of Graded Ceramic Filters [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the American Ceramic Society, 2009
A new processing route for high‐performance graded ceramic filters is presented. The direct foaming process is based on the transition of a surfactant‐stabilized alkane dispersion in a stabilized aqueous ceramic powder suspension into mechanically stable ceramic foams with porosities up to 90%.

Influence of filter surface roughness on the pressure drop of ceramic foam filters

open access: yesOpen Ceramics, 2023
The pressure drop of a ceramic foam filter is an important characteristic indicating the resistance to fluid flow through the filter. Filtration experiments have shown that filtration efficiency increases with decreasing functional pore size.
