Fabrication of sustainable ceramic board using solid-wastes for construction purpose
Construction and Building Materials, 2019Abstract This work aims to evaluate the feasibility of using seashell and fly ash as ingredients for fabrication of the sustainable ceramic board. The multi-phase ceramic powder (MCP) formulation was done through the mixing of 1:1 weight ratio of fly ash and heat-treated seashell as ingredients and calcined at 1100 °C.

Utilization of Granite Powder Waste in Ceramic Bodies for Civil Construction
Materials Science Forum, 2005The industry of ornamental stones processing from Espírito Santo State produces high amounts of powder waste from sawing and polishing of granite. This waste is a non-biodegradable material that when disposed generates pollution and environmental damage. Clay/waste mixtures were prepared with a kaolinitic clay and waste additions up to 10 wt.%. Various
