Neurosurgery, 1984
Abstract A rare lesion, a gumma in the cerebellopontine angle, is reported. Gumma may mimic other more commonly occurring cerebellopontine angle tumors. The computed tomographic (CT) appearance and histological characteristics are discussed. The literature of cerebral gumma is reviewed.

Surgical Neurology, 1985
Lipomas rarely occur intracranially. Moreover, the cerebellopontine angle is one of the more unusual sites of such hamartomas. Of the 11 reported cases, all but three caused symptoms related to compression of the cranial nerves in the cerebellopontine angle.

Human Pathology, 1986
Cerebellopontine angle lipomas are rare lesions that differ from other intracranial lipomas in that they typically present with slowly progressive focal signs and symptoms identical to those of other tumors of this location, and by their propensity for intimate involvement of the adjacent cranial nerves.

Cerebellopontine Angle Paraganglioma
Otology & Neurotology, 2003Acoustic neuroma account for 80% of cerebellopontine angle tumors. Paraganglioma is a rare tumor in this region. The authors report a case of cerebellopontine angle paraganglioma arising from the anterior inferior cerebellar artery. The clinical and radiologic features were indistinguishable from those of a neuroma, and only the intraoperative view ...

Cerebellopontine angle craniopharyngioma
min - Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery, 1990A rare case of craniopharyngioma presenting as a primary cerebellopontine angle tumour is reported. Unlike normal craniopharyngiomas, preoperative diagnosis is often difficult. Radical removal of a completely cystic tumour is carried out through an unilateral suboccipital exposure.

A case of a cerebellopontine angle lipoma is presented with a typical clinical, audiometric and radiological features of an acoustic neuroma. The correct pre-operative diagnosis was elusive even with the aid of magnetic resonance imaging.
