Complicated Sporadic Cardiac Myxomas: A Second Recurrence and Myxomatous Cerebral Aneurysms in One Patient

open access: yesCase Reports in Surgery, 2013
A second recurrence of an excised nonfamilial cardiac myxoma is rare. Myxomatous cerebral aneurysms as a complication of cardiac myxomas are equally rare. A unique case of a patient with a total of 4 myxomas over a 20-year interval is presented.

ASL 4D MRA Intracranial Vessel Segmentation With Deep Learning U‐Nets

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, Volume 95, Issue 4, Page 2384-2396, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Purpose To propose a spatio‐temporal U‐Net based network (4DST) that exploits both spatial and dynamic information while avoiding memory‐intensive 4D convolutional layers for ASL‐based non‐contrast enhanced 4‐dimensional MR angiography (4D MRA) vessel segmentation.

Human Cyclophilins—An Emerging Class of Drug Targets

open access: yesMedicinal Research Reviews, Volume 46, Issue 2, Page 475-512, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Cyclophilins are a family of enzymes with peptidyl‐prolyl isomerase activity found in all cells of all organisms. To date, 17 cyclophilin isoforms have been identified in the human body, participating in diverse biological processes. Consequently, cyclophilins have emerged as promising targets for drug development to address a wide array of ...

OPEN SURGERY FOR TREATING MULTIPLE ANEURYSMS OF INTRACRANIAL CEREBRAL ARTERIES

open access: yesФундаментальная и клиническая медицина, 2017
Here we describe an original surgical approach performed in a 30-year-old male patient with multiple intracranial aneurysms. To access and excise the aneurysms, we carried out skull trepanation following clipping of four aneurysms: 1)

History of cerebral revascularization

open access: yesChinese Journal of Contemporary Neurology and Neurosurgery
Cerebral revascularization is constantly being updated and iterated, but there are still many challenges: how to regulate the bypass flow quantitatively, how to reconstruct cerebral artery perforator vessels with diameter less than 0.5 mm, etc..
