Doppler (TCD) were performed. Risk factors were assessed by lipidogram, blood glucose, and presence of hypertension and cardiovascular diseases. There were 20 (60.6%) men and 13 (39.4%) women aged 60-80 years. In most patients (57.6%), brain CT revealed lesions in other areas beside the one in the territory of PCA.
