Cerebral Sinus Venous Thrombosis
1994The traditional view of thrombosis of the cerebral veins and/or sinuses (SVT) is that of a rare disease, difficult to diagnose, difficult to treat, and with a poor prognosis. Based on a number of recent findings, this concept has been revised. SVT is more frequent than previously thought but still rare compared with arterial stroke.
