A critical step, dry reforming of methane (DRM) converts biogas into useful syngas. Yet trace H2S in biogas rapidly poisons DRM catalysts, limiting practical use. We developed a robust Pt/CeO2 catalyst sustaining DRM activity via CO2‐induced reverse lattice oxygen spillover in H2S‐rich environments.

A novel optical thermometer exploits the rare UV emission of Yb2+ ions in a SrB4O7 host, enabling highly sensitive, non‐contact temperature measurements from 80 to 420 K. The applied multiple linear regression (MLR) analysis results in a multiple increase in the resulting temperature sensitivity.

This work reports a solid‐state surfactant templating method that enables precise doping of non‐layered oxide nanosheets. Using ceria and rare‐earth elements as model systems, we established design principles for solid‐state surfactants containing multiple elements.
