A study of cermets' wear behaviour
Wear, 1997The wear behaviour of cermet materials commercially available for cutting tool applications is investigated. Four insert types of diverse cermet compositions are used in dry face milling of steel AISI-SAE 1045 and in erosion tests under oblique and orthogonal impacting conditions.

Effect of TiN addition on the microstructure and mechanical properties of TiB2-FeNi based cermets
Materials Science & Engineering: A, 2019The TiB2-x vol% TiN-20 vol% (Fe-Ni) system cermets with various volume fraction of TiN were successfully fabricated through gas pressure sintering. The effects of TiN content on the mechanical properties and microstructure of TiB2-based cermets was ...

Microstructure and properties of WC-17Co cermets prepared using different processing routes
Ceramics International, 2019WC-17Co cermets were prepared using three different processing routes. An as-ball milled powder mixture (BMPM) and pre-solid solution treatment powder (PSTP) were used as feedstock.
