Measuring Calorific Value in Certifying Major Fuels
Measurement Techniques, 2002It is shown that the international practice of accounting for natural gas in terms of its total energy content makes it possible to obtain comparable prices for the energy produced by various fuels. It is proposed that the calculations should be based on the higher heat of combustion, not the lower one.
