AbstractA three‐and‐a‐half‐year‐old male with cervical angiofollicular lymph node hyperplasia is presented. Only 185 cases of this lesion have ever been described. The greater majority of these (80%) were located in the mediastinum. This case represents the youngest patient ever described as having such a lesion, especially located in the neck.

A series of almost 2000 patients with squamous carcinoma of the head and neck is presented. Seven percent of the patients had massive fixed glands at the time of presentation. The incidence of fixed nodes varied between sites, and increased with increasing T-stage of the primary tumor.
