CFD Simulation for the Pasteurization of Fruit Puree with Pieces
Thermal pasteurization is a technique widely utilized in the industry to reduce the microbial content of foods and increase their shelf life. The food pasteurization is commonly carried out in continuous process where the food undergoes to a rapid heating and a subsequent cooling with high heat transfer coefficients in order to reduce the degradation ...

Efficient Adsorption‐Based Direct Air Capture Via Triply Periodic Minimal Surface Architectures
Architected triply periodic minimal surface (TPMS) contactors reshape direct air capture by replacing straight‐channel diffusion limits with convection‐enhanced CO2 transport. Chaotic advection thins boundary layers and exposes fast adsorption sites, enabling 70%–75% more fast sites, 114% higher productivity, and 51.8% lower energy consumption than ...

StackingNet: Collective Inference Across Independent AI Foundation Models
ABSTRACT Artificial intelligence (AI) built on large foundation models has transformed language understanding, computer vision, and reasoning, yet these systems remain isolated and cannot readily share their capabilities. Coordinating the complementary strengths of independently developed, black‐box foundation models is essential for trustworthy ...

CFD simulation of flapped rotors [PDF]
AbstractThe use of active trailing edge flaps on rotors may lead to performance benefits as well as noise and vibration reduction. In this work, computational fluid dynamics, using the HMB2 solver, is used to assess the effect of the trailing edge flaps on the whole flight domain of a modern main rotor.
