MIDAS: a methodological framework for high‐speed high‐energy diffraction microscopy data reduction. Part I: methodology

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section A, EarlyView.
This paper details the complete methodological framework implemented in the MIDAS software for processing high‐energy diffraction microscopy (HEDM) data. We describe the specific algorithms, coordinate systems and physical models used for both far‐field and near‐field HEDM analysis.

Single Line Drawing Generation via Semantics‐Driven Optimization

open access: yesComputer Graphics Forum, EarlyView.
We present a method for automatically generating single‐line drawings in vector format, guided by a text prompt or an input image. Our approach leverages score distillation sampling to optimize the parameters of a uniform rational B‐spline (URBS) curve, ensuring that the drawing consists of a single continuous stroke by design.

Mechanical stiffness orchestrates distinct regulation of MRTFs and YAP/TAZ transcriptional cofactors in hepatocytes

open access: yesThe FEBS Journal, EarlyView.
MRTFs and YAP/TAZ proteins, or mechanosensitive transcriptional cofactors (MRTcoF), regulate common genes associated with cellular contractility and immune cell infiltration. Their differential regulation in response to stiffness is linked to changes in hepatocyte's aspect ratio. MRTFB does not undergo nuclear translocation under these conditions. This

Engineering a Scalable Laboratory Infrastructure for Assembly Language Scaffolding: Design and Deployment of a Locally Optimized GenAI Assistant for the CODE‐2 Educational Architecture

open access: yesComputer Applications in Engineering Education, Volume 34, Issue 3, May 2026.
ABSTRACT The transition from high‐level programming to assembly language constitutes a well‐documented pedagogical bottleneck in computer engineering curricula, particularly in large‐cohort laboratory settings where individualized scaffolding cannot scale.

Metrics‐First, Language‐Aware Clone Type Recognition: Auditable Signals Across C, C#, Java, and Python

open access: yesJournal of Software: Evolution and Process, Volume 38, Issue 5, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Modern clone research has largely converged on powerful end‐to‐end detectors, yet practitioners still lack auditable guidance on which concrete code characteristics best distinguish clone types and whether those signals transfer across languages.

Electromagnetic Perception With Artificial Intelligence‐Empowered Programable Metasurface: From Data‐Driven Imaging to Semantic Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, Volume 7, Issue 4, April 2026.
This review chronicles the evolution of intelligent electromagnetic (EM) perception systems empowered by metasurfaces and artificial intelligence. The progression from data‐driven imaging with implicit priors to semantic sensing with explicit priors is systematically reviewed.

Coupling Parsivel2 Measured Raindrop Size Distributions and Fall Velocity Estimates to Characterise Rainfall Simulators

open access: yesHydrological Processes, Volume 40, Issue 3, March 2026.
This study characterises drip‐type and pressurised rainfall simulators using photographic, disdrometric and empirical fall‐velocity approaches. Results show that the Parsivel2 optical disdrometer systematically underestimates raindrop fall velocity for both simulator types.

Securing the Unseen: A Comprehensive Exploration Review of AI‐Powered Models for Zero‐Day Attack Detection

open access: yesExpert Systems, Volume 43, Issue 3, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Zero‐day exploits remain challenging to detect because they often appear in unknown distributions of signatures and rules. The article entails a systematic review and cross‐sectional synthesis of four fundamental model families for identifying zero‐day intrusions, namely, convolutional neural networks (CNN), deep neural networks (DNN ...

Field Tests and the Numerical Analysis of a Pile-Net Composite Foundation for an Intelligent Connected Motor-Racing Circuit

open access: yesBuildings
In response to the problem of significant post-construction settlement that may occur in a motor racing circuit (MRC), two representative composite foundation testing areas, PHC pile (pre-tensioned spun high-strength concrete pile) and CFG pile (cement ...

Fabrication of Multifunctional FeSi Gyroid Lattice Composites via Additive Manufacturing and Polymer Infiltration

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 28, Issue 3, 4 February 2026.
A two‐step approach combining laser powder bed fusion of FeSi electrical steel with Bakelite infiltration enables the fabrication of multifunctional gyroid lattice composites. The resulting structures exhibit high strength, magnetic anisotropy, and complete polymer infiltration, demonstrating a simple and scalable route toward lightweight, mechanically
