ABSTRACT Software fault prediction (SFP) plays a crucial role in modern software development by enabling early identification of fault‐prone modules and efficient allocation of testing resources. While deep learning approaches have shown promise in this domain, challenges persist regarding architectural choices, metric selection, and class imbalance ...

Integrating climate‐change exposure and refugia into landscape planning: A practical guide
Climate change requires a strategic approach to land‐use planning that considers spatial patterns of vulnerability. Acknowledging the diversity among planning contexts, we offer flexible guidance to help practitioners integrate spatial refugia metrics into conservation and land‐use strategies, promoting adaptability in the face of climate change ...

Composite Foundation Settlement Prediction Based on LSTM–Transformer Model for CFG
Roadbed construction typically employs layered and staged filling, characterized by a periodic feature of ‘layered filling—filling interval’. The load and settlement histories established during staged construction offer crucial insights into long-term ...

Female genital schistosomiasis (FGS), caused by chronic infection with Schistosoma haematobium, represents a significant but neglected gynecological condition that affects approximately 56 million women in sub‐Saharan Africa. This parasitic disease manifests itself through chronic inflammation and tissue damage in the female genital tract, leading to ...

AI‐Powered Defense: Leveraging Deep Learning for Effective Malware Detection
Traditional malware detection techniques frequently fail to detect and stop malicious activity in an era where cyber threats are becoming more complex. Any software that enters a computer system without the administrator’s consent is considered malicious software.

This study addresses the environmental challenges of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from Portland cement by investigating the valorization of crystalline black slag (CBS) as an eco‐sustainable precursor for geopolymer mortars (GPMs). A novel thermal activation process was employed, where CBS was calcined at 800°C and rapidly water‐quenched to produce ...

Photoswitching of the Two‐Photon Absorption of Donor‐Acceptor Substituted Dithienylethenes
Switching two‐photon absorption: Donor‐acceptor substituted dithienylethenes are shown to switch their two‐photon absorption properties upon light‐induced electrocyclic isomerization. In this work the structural and electronic integration of push–pull systems with photoactivatable dithienylethenes (DTEs) is demonstrated.

Climate Change Drives Shift in Cold Season Flood Generation Mechanisms in a Seasonally Frozen Region
We present a new end‐to‐end transferable and scalable modelling‐analysis framework that links continuous modelling simulations with probabilistic flood conditioning. Field‐calibrated model outputs are translated into representative antecedent states using extreme value analysis and trivariate kernel densities of soil liquid content, soil ice content ...
