Nuclear pore links Fob1‐dependent rDNA damage relocation to lifespan control

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Damaged rDNA accumulates at a specific perinuclear interface that couples nucleolar escape with nuclear envelope association. Nuclear pores at this site help inhibit Fob1‐induced rDNA instability. This spatial organization of damage handling supports a functional link between nuclear architecture, rDNA stability, and replicative lifespan in yeast.

Electrochemical studies of ciprofloxacin and its interaction with DNA(环丙沙星与DNA相互作用的电化学研究)

研究了环丙沙星(CFX)在自制的浸蜡石墨电极上的电化学特性,示差脉冲伏安法发现CFX在0.88 V处有一明显的氧化峰,DNA的加入使这一氧化峰明显减弱.采用所推导的电化学公式对实验数据进行了非线性拟合,同时获得了CFX与DNA的结合常数(K=1.36105(mol/L)-1)和结合位点数(s= 1.94),并探讨了CFX与小牛胸腺DNA的结合机理.
