Surviving Fibroblasts After Treatment With Mitomycin C Exhibit SASP‐Like Phenotype After Glaucoma Filtration Surgery

open access: yesAging Cell, Volume 25, Issue 9, September 2026.
Transcriptomic analysis using a rabbit glaucoma filtration surgery model, combined with in vitro experiments on human conjunctival fibroblasts, demonstrates that mitomycin C induces a senescence‐associated secretory phenotype (SASP)‐like state. These SASP‐like fibroblasts were selectively eliminated by the specific senolytic agent, highlighting their ...

Caring With/In Place: Future‐Oriented Practices of Care in Local Initiatives in Gothenburg, Sweden

open access: yesArea, Volume 58, Issue 3, September 2026.

Strong Diurnal‐Dependent Meteorological Control on Long‐Term Variations of Cloud Droplet Number Concentration

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 15, 16 August 2026.
Abstract While long‐term cloud droplet number concentration (CDNC) changes are commonly attributed to aerosols, the role of meteorological factors remains poorly explored. Here, we perform a time‐resolved contribution analysis of long‐term CDNC variations using nearly two decades of geostationary observations over four Atlantic subtropical regions. The

Adipocyte‐Derived Leptolin Enhances Energy Expenditure and Prevents Obesity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 46, 17 August 2026.
We identified a novel adipokine, which we named leptolin. In humans, leptolin levels in white adipose tissue were positively correlated with exercise and negatively associated with body mass index. We observed elevated leptolin in serum from athletes and lower leptolin in serum from obese individuals.
