The Chaboche unified model with kinematic recovery term was used to describe the cyclic plasticity and viscoplasticity of a new nickel-based superlloy. The model response sensitivities to the change of each parameter of this Chaboche model under either stress control or strain control are calculated and analysed. Influential parameters were identified.

2021This paper aims to present a comprehensive guideline for the implementation of Chaboche's plasticity kinematic hardening model in the context of finite element analysis. A detailed strategy for the resolution of the elastoplastic problem (return mapping) as well as for the computation of the consistent tangent operator are presented.
