Kin discrimination in plants: overview and implications for population and community ecology
ABSTRACT Following the discovery of identity discrimination, particularly self and kin discrimination amongst plant competitors, research on interplant interactions has advanced significantly within plant physiology and evolutionary ecology. This review synthesizes current knowledge on how both self and kin discrimination influence plant growth ...

From Centrality to Sustainability: How Connected Boards Shape Waste Management Outcomes
ABSTRACT The escalating climate crisis has elevated waste management from an operational concern to a critical issue of corporate governance. However, the role of board connectedness in shaping firms' waste practices remains largely unexplored. Drawing on resource dependency and social capital theories, this study examines how board network centrality ...

ABSTRACT Climate change has generated an unprecedented expansion of disclosure frameworks, metrics, and governance instruments intended to inform corporate strategy. Yet firms continue to differ markedly in how climate‐related knowledge is interpreted, prioritized, and embedded in decision‐making. This paper addresses this paradox by shifting attention

Moving Beyond 99.9% Coulombic Efficiency for Anode‐Free Sodium Metal Battery
Iron‐anchored carbon nanotubes (CNT‐Fe) are developed as a 3D sodiophilic host for anode‐free sodium metal batteries. The Fe nanoparticles significantly enhance sodium adsorption and ensure uniform deposition, enabling an exceptional 99.9% Coulombic efficiency over 1100 cycles and long‐term stability in high‐loading full cells.

An Analytical Design Model of a Vacuum Pressure Swing Adsorption Process for Biogas Upgrading
A steady‐state model was developed for a vacuum pressure swing adsorption (VPSA) process comprising adsorption, depressurization, and evacuation steps. The resulting analytical plant design model provides the optimal adsorber height required to achieve a target product purity with maximum bed utilization.
