This work provides a practical guide for neuroengineers to design advanced neural interfaces, embracing and tailoring the concept of functional disorder. By bridging 2D and 3D in vitro models, this work highlights how non‐periodic, spatially heterogeneous, multiscale nanotopography can enable more physiologically relevant platforms for studying neural ...

Complex paths for regular-to-chaotic tunneling rates
In generic Hamiltonian systems tori of regular motion are dynamically separated from regions of chaotic motion in phase space. Quantum mechanically these phase-space regions are coupled by dynamical tunneling.

Development and application of new 2D Cubic-Sine hyperchaotic map
Recently, chaotic maps possessing favorable chaotic properties have been extensively utilized in cryptography. One-dimensional (1D) chaotic maps, owing to their limited chaotic complexity, are not suitable for high-security requirements. Two-dimensional (

General Construction Method and Proof for a Class of Quadratic Chaotic Mappings
The importance of chaotic systems as the main pseudo-random cryptographic generator of encryption algorithms in the field of communication secrecy cannot be overstated, but in practical applications, researchers often choose to build upon traditional ...

Chaos in Duopoly Games via Furstenberg Family Couple
Assume that H1 and H2 are two given closed subintervals of ℝ and that f2:H1⟶H2 and f1:H2⟶H1 are continuous maps. Let ϒh1,h2=f1h2,f2h1 be a Cournot map over the space H1×H2. In this paper, we study G1,G2-chaos (resp.

Optimal Performance and Application for Firework Algorithm Using a Novel Chaotic Approach
Aimed at the bottleneck of Firework Algorithm's performance and the problem that it is easy to fall into the local extremum, this paper introduces a chaotic map approach and analyzes its statistical characteristics.

This work demonstrates an indium zinc oxide (IZO)‐modified separator applied to aqueous zinc ion batteries (AZIBs), which in situ generates an In–Zn interface layer to stabilize the separator/anode region during the cycling process. The In–Zn interface layer provides richer nucleation sites for Zn2+ and suppresses side reactions.

Reactivity‐Programmed Assembly: A kinetic‐control strategy is reported for constructing hyperconnected silicone aerogels with a robust “thick‐neck” architecture. By exploiting the reactivity disparity of precursors, flexible segments are uniformly embedded within a rigid skeleton.
