Enhancing Anode‐Free Lithium Metal Batteries: A Lightweight MPTS‐MXene Current Collector for Superior Performance and Energy Density

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
This study introduces an MPTS‐modified MXene current collector for anode‐free lithium metal batteries (AFLMBs). A key advantage of MPTS‐MXene is its ultralight weight, only 15% as heavy as standard copper per unit volume. Its special layered structure and Si‐O rich surface help lithium deposit smoothly and flat, while forming a protective layer that ...

Nickel‐Catalyzed LiF‐Rich Interface for Silicon Anodes

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
Modulating the decomposition of F‐containing species in the electrolyte to form LiF‐rich SEI has been proven to be an effective strategy for interface optimization. Herein, through nickel‐catalyzed pyrolysis of carbon precursors on silicon, graphene‐like carbon was formed to construct three‐dimensional conductive networks.

“We Are Willing to Change, If…”: Potential Impacts of Citizens' Assemblies on the Willingness to Change for Sustainability in Rural East German Municipalities

open access: yesEnvironmental Policy and Governance, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In light of the democratic and social‐ecological crises, deliberative minipublics such as citizens' assemblies are increasingly implemented and discussed by scholars as a means for sound decision‐making and to enhance public support for sustainability transformations.

Chaotic behavior based on discontinuous maps

open access: yes, 2013
In this paper a class of chaotic vector fields in R3 is considered. We prove its chaotic behavior by using of the topological entropy of a class of interval maps with finite number of discontinuities.
