Chaotic synchronization for a class of fractional-order chaotic systems
Chinese Physics, 2007In this paper, a very simple synchronization method is presented for a class of fractional-order chaotic systems only via feedback control. The synchronization technique, based on the stability theory of fractional-order systems, is simple and theoretically rigorous.

Orders of convergence for superlineary convergent chaotic iterations
Computing, 1991If on computers with multiprocessors individual processors are allowed to proceed without waiting for each other it is natural to consider so- called chaotic iterations for computations on such computers. The author proves a theorem giving conditions for superlinear convergence of chaotic iterations in an appropriate setting.

Ordered and chaotic electrical solitons: communication perspectives
IEEE Communications Magazine, 2006While the use of sinusoidal electromagnetic waves as information carriers is taken as one of the principal axioms of today's wireless system design, certain nonsinusoidal waves may further enrich the scope and capacity of modern wireless engineering. Two notable nonsinusoid examples are impulses and chaotic signals. The short temporal width of impulses

Higher-order chaotic iteration sequences
1993Chaotic iteration sequences is a method for approximating fixpoints of monotonic functions proposed by Patrick and Radhia Cousot. It may be used in specialisation algorithms for Prolog programs and in abstract interpretation when only parts of a fixpoint result is needed to perform program optimisations. In the first part of this paper we reexamine the

Ordered and chaotic spiral arms
Astronomische Nachrichten, 2008AbstractThe stellar flow at the arms of spiral galaxies is qualitatively different among different morphological types. The stars that reinforce the spiral arms can be either participating in an ordered or in a chaotic flow. Ordered flows are associated with normal (nonābarred) spiral galaxies.

This paper investigates the function projective synchronization between fractional-order chaotic systems and integer-order chaotic systems using the stability theory of fractional-order systems. The function projective synchronization between three-dimensional (3D) integer-order Lorenz chaotic system and 3D fractional-order Chen chaotic system are ...

GENERALIZED SYNCHRONIZATION OF FRACTIONAL ORDER CHAOTIC SYSTEMS
International Journal of Modern Physics B, 2011In the paper, generalized chaotic synchronization of a class of fractional order systems is studied. Based on the stability theory of linear fractional order systems, a generalized synchronization scheme is presented, and theoretical analysis is provided to verify its feasibility.

Order-Disorder Phase Transition in a Chaotic System
Physical Review Letters, 2008For soft-mode turbulence, which is essentially the spatiotemporal chaos caused by the nonlinear interaction between convective modes and Goldstone modes in electroconvection of homeotropic nematics, a type of order-disorder phase transition was revealed, in which a new order parameter was introduced as pattern ordering.
